What to bring to the campout:

 

FYI: Beds are SINGLE wooden platforms (queen air mattresses do not fit)

        There are NO linens, blankets or pillows

Please be aware that tick bite occurrences are high this year, so we strongly recommend bringing tick and mosquito spray.

Camp Shehaqua has rough terrain at the campsites. For your safety, please do not wear flip-flops; closed-toed shoes or sneakers are best for this environment.

 

FYI: There is no electricity in the cabins.  Bring a solar charger if you have one. 

Padding to sleep on or a single inflatable mattress (beds are 80" x 36")

We have air compressors if you don't have one

Blankets or a sleeping bag

Pillow

Flashlight (for the paths to your cabin if your cell battery dies)

Sweatshirt/Pants (it frequently gets cold at night).

Towel(s) if you plan to shower or swim

Swimsuit (If you want to swim)

Shampoo

Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant etc.

Bug Spray

If you have these items please bring: Big Book, coffee mug, water bottle and a folding chair.
